Speaker: Jacqueline Gaines
Jacqueline Gaines has practiced law for 20 years, she is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Ohio, and she has a Missouri bar license. For 13 years, she served the citizens of Montgomery County, Ohio as a full-time Domestic Relations Court magistrate. Prior to joining the Court, Jacqueline was in private practice for six years at two prominent Dayton-area law firms where she practiced business litigation and employment law.
Jacqueline is a two-time fellow. She is a 2023 Dayton Bar Foundation Fellow and a 2022 DePauw University Darnall Alumni Fellow. She is a published author.
Jacqueline is passionate about higher education and access to education. Over the past 13 years, she has taught on a part-time basis at Central State University, University Dayton School of Law, and Indiana University School of Law. Beginning in August 2024, Jacqueline will be teaching law full-time.
Jacqueline is a member of Freedom Hill Bible Church pastored by Reverend Dr. Terry Hill. She has been married to her best friend, Daniel, for 15 years. She has two daughters: an 11-year-old and an 8-year-old, and a 23-year-old stepdaughter. Jacqueline is excited to share with Cincinnati-North Polished how she uses her faith as a resiliency tool to navigate career change and career challenges.
