Speaker: Maria Pacheco
Maria Pacheco has a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Spanish and a graduate degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in Christian Education where her concentration was Women’s Ministry and Family Life. Through her prior work with Park Cities Baptist Church and Buckner International, she gained several years experience serving children and families in Vickery Meadow, Cuba, and Guatemala. She is also fluent in Spanish. As Act’s first official community advocate, she has been integral in developing Act’s strategy in bridging cultural barriers and building coalitions of neighbors to stand for change in their communities. In her current role as the VP of Impact and Expansion, she oversees the execution of our model overseeing our legal and community advocacy efforts while keeping an eye on future expansion.
