June's Featured Chapter

The featured chapter for the month of June is our chapter in Lubbock, TX! In the heart of west Texas, chapter directors Alison Blalock and Taber Black have put together a group of women who love and support each other and their communities. From collecting bedding for a local women’s shelter to hosting special events that draw people from throughout the city, the Lubbock Chapter of Polished is making an impact on their community.

The chapter usually meets for lunch at Picoso’s Mexican Kitchen on the first Tuesday of each month. Although June is the last month of our spring semester, the chapter directors already have great speakers lined up for the fall.

Additionally, the Lubbock chapter is the site of a satellite campus for the BOLDLY Conference. People who would like to attend BOLDLY but can’t make the trip to Dallas are welcome to join Polished Lubbock to watch the simulcast. Find out more information here.
