Speaker: Sarah Nelson

Sarah Nelson is a mother of three adult children and is from Canada. A mixture of career and lifetime opportunities saw the Nelson family move from Canada to Brazil. The family then moved to Texas where they have lived most of the past 19 years and are now US citizens.

It was in the Castle Hills Community where Sarah joined a neighborhood Bible Study (Riverstone Ministry) in 2008 and embarked on her first mission trip to Brazil with Amazon Outreach (AO). It was after that first mission trip that Sarah found Jesus.

Sarah began volunteering at AO and became a part-time employee while continuing to participate in or lead mission trips to the Amazon.

Sarah also volunteers her time to support Ignite Myanmar and Riverstone Ministry administratively and co-chairs the Castle Hills Turkey Trot. She enjoys outdoor activities that include cycling and hiking.
